SARS is now clamping down on vat numbers that are reflected on all customs process declarations. Please ensure that the vat number declared is linked to the importers/exporters code number. Incorrect vat numbers could result in vat refunds being rejected. Your vat number and importers/exporters code number can be verified in block 8 of customs processed declarations. If your vat number has changed please notify us so we can make the relevant adjustment on our system.
